10minutes walk from Kinomiya station of JR Ito Line, or take bus or taxi from JR Atami station. I used Shinkansen to Atami, then took a bus.
at the end of sight seeing, you can end up with Japanese sweets.

There are instruments for the festival inside
This is called "mikoshi" in Japan. God is inside and about 20 people lift this on their shoulder and walk around the town during the festival season.Insides are decorated with gold colored things .
