NEWDAYS

NEWDAYS is the convenience stores at the station.

I am not sure about the JR west Japan,

but JR east Japan area has many NEWDAYS.

NEWSAYS are only at station, after you bought a ticket or before that, you can go there, buy

drinks, food....etc. The register accept Suica Payment.

NEWDAYS may not have photocopy machine, so if you need photocopier, it is

better to go to another convenience store.

Where can I make photocopies in Japan?

The popular way is, just go to convenience stores. Family-mart, Seven Eleven, Sankus, Lawson.......etc. Many of them opened 24 hours in Tokyo area. This is the copier at Seven Eleven. (with this machine, you can also print a document from flash drive, print photos from SD cards...etc.)
Open the lid,put the document (face down, put the upper left corner of the document to the corner of the glass window)
Inset coins to the machine. 1 page costs 10yen (A3 size 20yen).
Select the copier (you can chose colored or black and white)
Select the paper size
Push Start.
